No. We do not powder coat our doors for a number of reasons. The biggest reasons are the fact that if anything were to happen to the door whether it be rust or any other damage it can not be repaired without fully removing the door, removing the powder coat, prepping, and re-baking the powder coat on the door. Second to that, a door cannot be insulated before this process as the baking process will destroy the foam and foam put in after the process will not provide full coverage.

Instead we use a paint process that starts from when the door is finished. The door and frame are galvanized, dipped, primed, and blasted before we put on two coats of paint followed by bronze dusting and then finished off with a clear coat. In the event that anything happens to your door this will allow us and touch up your door to look like new!

Yes. Our doors come with their own specialized Low E coated, dual pane, argon filled, tempered glass, custom pulls for our doors only, the highest grade metal screens for operable glass doors, and specific locking systems for our doors.

Our doors are made with easy maintenance in mind. The door itself can be cleaned by using household soap applied to a microfiber cloth and not directly on the door. Once cleaned it is recommended to use WD-40 sprayed on to a cloth and wipe down to maintain the life of the door itself.

The glass on our doors with the operable feature will swing open to the interior of your home where you can clean both sides in under a minute and you’re done!

The metal removable screens are connected by magnets to the frame so you can open your glass panel, push the screen from the exterior, and clean both sides of the screen without having to reach through your exterior ironwork to make it a simple process.

Iron Doors Arizona prides itself in making only the highest of quality doors and will never sacrifice quality to manufacture a door quicker. We have over 500 doors in stock to choose from at any given time as well to help speed up the process for you, the customer.

If the door you love is in stock we are typically installing within a 30-60 day time frame. This can always fluctuate but has been a consistent lead time.

If you want your door to be custom made or is not in stock we have a current 6 month lead time from the time your CAD drawing is approved until the day the door is installed.

Our installation process is a one day installation to make sure your door is in and secured. Some installations that require stucco, texturing, drywall, paint, or tile work may take up to two weeks to fully complete depending on the extent of work that needs to be done but the door will be in and secure on day 1.

Timber doors need extensive maintenance and are prone to “moving and changing shape” over time and must be stained and sealed every few years to prevent rotting. Most wood doors over 8ft tall will not come with a warranty, Iron Doors Arizona provides warranties with every door we install. Iron Doors Arizona doors do not need any maintenance and will not change shape or warp over time and come galvanized for marine grade corrosion protection.

Iron Doors Arizona is different from other companies primarily in two different ways: the construction of our doors and the people we have installing the doors.

Our doors are constructed with only the highest quality materials starting with the 12g tube steel we use for the frames and doors. All of our doors are not left hollow but contain fully foam insulated frames and doors for the highest energy efficiency rating. Our hinges are heavy duty barrel hinges that are made specifically for our doors to hold the weight and guarantee they will last the test of time. The glass we use is dual pane tempered glass with a Low E coating that have metal spacers filled with argon gas to give you the optimal energy efficiency as well as security. The metal screens that go in between the exterior and the glass are actual metal that cannot be with a knife to add extra security while allowing air flow to the house without bugs getting in. Our doors are also painted instead of powder coating as well which you can check out the difference here.

Our install teams, first off, are OUR install teams. We do not sub-out any of our installs as we cannot put a lifetime warranty behind our doors if they’re not our own people. Finally, all of our crews are specialized in what they do from our reframe crews, to our installers, to our stucco crews, to our drywallers, painters, etc… We have people that know exactly what they’re doing in their specific scope of work to make sure the job gets done right the first time.

As mentioned early these two primary reasons are exactly why we put a lifetime warranty behind the construction and operation of our doors and the frames themselves to give you peace of mind.
